This Kieninger 1711-96-02 is a sophisticated triple chime mantel clock in a black lacquered finish with a completely round base shape. It is curved with bevelled glass and a glass dome top to allow a view of the polished bell chime, open silver plated Roman dial ring 18 cm shows the clock movement. The front glass can be opened by turning it around the clock.

The clock is equipped with a Kieninger REC02, 1/4 key wind movement with Swiss style escapement (11 jewels with screw balance), pinned chime drum with triple chime playing Westminster, St. Michael & Whittington melodies on a 9-bell chime. The run time is 7 days, and there's second indication, chime shut-off and automatic night time shut-off between 10.00 PM and 7.15 AM.
